What a fantastic stay!! We had a brilliant time visiting friends and family in Southampton. The property was just as described, warm and clean. James was so responsive (thank you for showing me where the cutlery drawer was!! :)) and helpful and check in was super easy after a 26 hour flight (and 2.5hr commute) from Australia. The property is perfect for taking in the sights of Southampton. Thank you James and team - we will be back!

Wow, what a stay! I booked this for a hen weekend and it was just the perfect location. Close to lots of activities, bars and eateries, parking was easy. The actual accommodation itself was stylish and spotless, to host so many of us it was perfect! We had dinner/breakfast together around the large table downstairs and could relax in the living room on the 1st floor, we felt very comfortable and at home. James was on hand the whole way through the booking with answers to any questions. Although we didn’t have time to read or play games provided, there was so much there to do! Bathrooms and bedrooms were clean, we were all so pleased with our stay. We’d love to stay again on any other Southampton visits - thank you James & India

James’s place is brilliant! We stayed as a family of 7 including grandparents, babies and a dog and it was so family friendly. The house is kitted out with everything you need and is so central to parks, shops and restaurants. The bar in the garden gave us the opportunity to party without disturbing those in bed. The large dining table and lounge meant we could all hang out together. The bathrooms are modern and great showers! The bedrooms are specious and the beds are comfy. The parking is really helpful and the check in and instructions are clear and easy. The local bars can be noisy on a Friday and Saturday however with the windows closed the noise was not a problem.
James is a great host, a great communicator and couldn’t have done more for us. We’ll definitely use again in the the future!

Amazing stay. A beautiful home. An amazing area. Staying in this location allowed me experience Southampton and uk very conveniently while staying in a very comfortable home. The train station about a 10 minute walk so is the mall and during the walk you walk by such beautiful restaurants. Really happy with the stay. Thank you freedom properties!

This is a beautiful house right by the docks and the historic Southampton walls. We used it as a workspace for a couple of days and it was ideal. Great decor, comfy beds and modern amenities. Close to some really great restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay here again.

When I first stumbled upon this house on AirBnB it was so beautiful, everything was as perfect as it seemed online. James is the most thoughtful, gracious host. He provided us with all the information we needed. The house is just perfect! Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs. James always responds promptly if I needed anything. The bed is comfortable, bathroom and terrace/balcony are excellent. Location is incredible. Thank you once again.

Wonderful stay at Westgate House. We were 3 generations and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect location for exploring Southampton. The house itself was just as described and communication with James was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

James is a great host, nothing too much trouble. Number 10 is in a great location, it’s characterful and homely. Very comfy super king size beds, and the sofas seat 7 easily (rare in many self catering properties). Having the AGA was a bonus and the kitchen and dining room became a natural place to gravitate to. We’d certainly book again the next time we need to accommodate all our family when visiting the parents who live locally. They too loved it especially with a roaring fire, a glass of bubbly and surrounded by their sons and partners. Thanks James, a great weekend was had by all xxx
